Elite is T

And then there was one. I guess by nature, that all the Elite-ist Scooter Crew can really accommodate.

Summer Battlecry.

That right there was the theme song for The Legend Of Billie Jean, a teen-outlaw runaway flick from the 80's. I can't believe I never saw this as a kid! The first ten minutes alone feature some sweet Honda Elite action, a southern Lisa Simpson, and Wendy O' Williams from the Plasmatics. Check it:

Official E.S.C. Event.

You better believe we'll be shmobbing through for this. The cheapest seats are $35, but once inside, you can roam freely. Anyone who got buck-ass wild with Michy & I at Hot Summer Nights '06, where we sang, shook and cried in drunken merriment to SWV, En Vogue, Bell Biv Devoe & Bobby Brown, can attest. Section C, for Can't Hold Me Down!

Live, at the Greek Theatre, Friday, May 9th, 2008:

Charlie Wilson & the Gap Band
Keith Sweat
One Way
The Emotions

Here are some vid's to entice you. lf the entire Gap Band video doesn't do it right off the bat, Keith Sweat's Saxophonin' Sad Clown will...

Newest Member of Elite-ist Scooter Crew

The only part that is important to you is the 14 sec. between:
7:07 and 7:21.

It's up for debate, but I say let the man decide for himself.

Pioneer speakers bumpin' as I smoke on a pound...

I don't know about the sippy-cup holster, but this shit is TOO HYPE:

Key moments are 1:30-1:45.  I thought we were pretty tough until I saw this.  Tracy, the dude that put it all together, hails from Tennessee.  In addition to the sound system, he's got chrome safety bars and a leather front cover, all custom made of course.  Damn!  If we ever go Worldwide, he can be the President of our Deep South Chapter, if interested.  He got some worthy praise, inquiries, and comments in the comment section of his YouTube page, my favorites being this one, from gokartking:

That is ths SHIZNIT OH BAM SNIP SNAP SNAPPY SLAP!  Good on you dude for bangin the hottest Elite on the streety streets.

and this one, from Markit0sa:

How did you get you're radio to tune to FM stations?  I have a red Honda Elite Deluxe just like this except mine is red and doesn't have FM stations.  I have a kenwood my niggah.

Shit.  With or without FM, I will take the Kenwood!  Michelle's boombox-in-a-basket will have to do for now, but I see some serious upgrades on the horizon...

PCH

Photobucket
I just rode my Elite up the world-renowned Pacific Coast Highway for the first time, and needless to say, it was the BOMB.  It's about 25 miles from the Eastside to Malibu, and I was worried there'd be all kinds of drunk drivers gunning into the night, but the road was pretty quiet.  It's also Sunday, so go figure.  This weekend has seen some extraordinarily warm weather, and I was grateful it didn't burn off by the time I headed home.  I had a spare pair of pants in my new, spiffy backpack, in case it got too chilly for my purple lard-o shorts (they've got an elastic band- the best for road trips, hangover days, post-eatoff's, or any combination of the three), but it was alllll good.  My helmet has a faceguard, and if I talk or sing to myself, the sound bounces right back into my ears, undeterred by the wind and squawk of my motor.  I kept myself abuzz howling Billy Idol jams ("Do not staaaaand in the shadows!"), trying to keep pitch and balance, both vocally and physically (shit got a lil' gusty throughout the trip).  What a sweet ride!
